I’m a student and i am thinking of getting the Adobe creative suite cs4 design premium STUDENT EDITION, but i wanted to make sure if its the same as the regular Adobe creative suite cs4 design premium.

For the most part yes, just be aware that there are legal restrictions on using it for professional work.

I have adobe creative suite design premium installed in my computer, I want to install photoshop cs4. I heard form others that its not compatible, should I just uninstall photoshop cs3, then install cs4? Tnhx

You have a couple of options on this:
1. As you suggest, you could completely uninstall CS3 so that you can then install CS4 in its place. However, the problem with this is that if you have any additional software (plugins, actions, styles etc etc) installed with CS3, you’re liable to lose them in the Uninstall.
2. If your hard drive is partitioned, you could install CS4 to a different partition from CS3, and the two should then co-exist with no problems. You’d then be free to add any additional material to CS4 (tho be wanred that a lot of actions specifically setup for CS3 may not work with CS4 (commands in diff places etc).

Good luck

I’d like to use a free web design template I found, but the Creative Commons license says I have to leave the designer’s link on the website. If I am tweaking the design (color, size, layout, etc.) is the design still protected under this license?

In other words, how far does the design need to change before it stops being the original copyrighted material? Or does it ever?

Till it becomes unrecognisable. And the changes must also be in the code, not just the face

…particularly in an architectural and interior design context.
Thankyou so much kroshta.

think of concept ,,start by writing down what ur project is about , what do u want ppl to feel think, and what ,messages u want to convey…things will be easier for you that way,, u’ll figure what u want in no time…>>>
for instance take inspiration from nature, and things around you ,,, may be a shell , integrate other industrial elements as well … think of evoking a sense as u said smell ,,, color and shapes as well as pattern on the wall,,,, and it can all start from an simple thing but when made enormous will look amazing ; you can be straight forward as possible and still have amazing results and the message will get through to everyone ,, check this link and see what i mean ,,, http://www.flickr.com/photos/66919832@N00/234371286/
