I’ve just obtained flash CS4 professional, and i would like to create a simple flash game with it. Where are some good tutorial sites where i can learn how to make SIMPLE flash games.

You might use some help from the link below.

I have looked all over barnesandnobel.com but I found only like 1 book on web design on flash cs4 but its crap and only 15 dollars. I found tons of book on actionscript/flash cs4 but not on flash web design…should I just study the flash cs4 books and then will web design come to me even though its not a web design book? or wat

Flash is built and used in web design to learn web design you should ideally understand HTML, this is always the starting point of any website even if you plan on making it in flash. Once you have HTML under your belt then move on to flash and building flash websites, although flash’s main purpose is to provide content like games and videos, it is now used for web design or web enhancement due to its interactivity. You will need to look for Action Script 3.0 Tutorials to help you with Flash CS4, Flash CS4 isn’t very old so it maybe a while before books on how to… appear on the open market. Best bet is to look at youtube and just search flash cs4, many tutorials for you to follow. Good luck.

I am a professional digital Illustrator who uses all the typical programs such as adobe Illustrator, photoshop, flash, Maya and I would like to know who would be interested in me freelancing my services to?

I want to find a pt job about this, how can I get it?

You can’t get much without an education or some kind of "pudding" (proof is in the pudding…a portfolio). If you have the aforementioned, get out the phone book and call advertising firms and see if they need any help as you are interested in being an independent consultant.

I have never heard of a part-time designer that was an employee. Usually those are freelancers or completely self-employed.

The Linux version of the Adobe flash is just brain dead how it wastes hardware resources for simple operations. Flash should be using server side operations to add transparent effects to UI elements.

But actually flash is reading back the whole video for software rendering of UI elements. This jsut can’t be correct.

Adobe: If you want to do software rendering do only software rendering. It is not cheap operation to move data between video memory and system memory.

Hello.
I know a little HTML, but a lot of new websites seem entirely designed in Flash. How is this done? What is the best program to use, and what is the best way to learn how to create sites like these.
I have a graphics background, but am a newbie to web design. I don’t want to invest in an HTML course only to discover that it has been overtaken by something new!
Please help

It’s obviously made in flash. Flash is going out of style. If you know HTML you should go into the CSS & Jquery direction.
