I want to create a couple of websites, a personal website and a business website, I am looking for a low buck solution that I can make myself, I have no programming or html skills.
I want it to look nice though… any experience with these online all in one design sites? Which is easiest with the nicest outcome?

I tried the upizaz also, it is incredibly easy. I did my site with flash. It loads fast and looks like I spent $1500 bucks! Only cost Just under $200

What are some of the top website design companies in America, the world, wherever? I am looking for companies that are very creative and original.

I’m doing some market research for website design and just wanted to get an idea of what other people or companies in the industry charge for web design services. Please, no speculation. If you do sites, what do you charge? If you had a site done, what did you pay? Or link to sources that have prices for web design services.

I am sorry, but your question and details are much too vague to give specific details.

For example:

• What area of the world will this be designed for, and in. Pricing is different around the world, not to mention different monetary systems.

• How extensive will the web site be. A handful of pages, several pages, or many (hundreds/thousands). The number of people involved to do large projects makes a difference.

• How involved will the web site be.
º º Graphic work.
º º Scripting.
º º Database accessing.
º º Programming.
º º Interactive.
º º Etc…

• Does the client know what they want. Or will this be more like an Ad Agency, where the client will not know what they will like until they see it designed (meaning it may have to be done several times).

• Will this be a one time shot, or an ongoing contract to maintain the web site after design and implementation.

• Etc…

You will be better off doing a Google search with specific keywords in your search criteria so that you can gather the information you desire.

I have a little knowledge of html but not much. I am looking to design a small business website (no buying or selling, just info). I have heard that there is good software out there that takes the html knowledge out of it but they are expensive. I want a relatively inexpensive one to start out with., but I want to be able to make the website look nice and original, not cookie-cutterish.

Manage Your Own Website 1.15 is a good one for learning, go to download.com and type in website design in the search bar and try one out before you buy it to see if you like it, they usually have a 10 to 30 day trial versions on all of the programs on download.com, i hope this helps any..

Everyone, I’m trying to locate a professional website design company in Wisconsin. Does anyone know where to find Website companies that are in Wisconsin?

I’m considering signing up for a certification program in Basic Website Design and Management. Courses and books cover programs such as Javascript, CSS, Dreamweaver CS3, etc. I don’t have the money to purchase programs like Dreamweaver right now.

What programs are available to me for tinkering for free? I want to purchase a book or two and work on these skills before I choose to sign up for the program. Any other suggestions, such as books to buy, are helpful as well.

I maintain a page of links to client-side programming resources at:

http://home.comcast.net/~richarduie/

There links to (free) tools, online learning resources and articles, books (not free, but they are the best of breed), related to CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, etc. – all the non-proprietary aspects of web-dev. Start there.

No Dreamweaver (proprietary, commercial)
