The main thing … The main thing everyone should know is that working as a graphic designer has very little to do with ‘creative’ design. All the years of ‘training’ are a waste of time. Most of the time you will only encounter complete fools on a powertrip. As this video testifies – the reality is a bland world full of bland people who don’t want YOUR ideas. They want THEIR predicable tosh made to look ‘pretty’. Expect to work hours of UNPAID overtime. It’s a soulless occupation. You know exactly what I mean.
BUT, what if this … BUT, what if this is your first time in the design world? Everyone has to start somewhere, and if EVERYONE demands a portfolio before starting then how are you ever going to build one up to start with?
I just want to say … I just want to say that in any job you choose to do if your many priority is to make money you will never succeed first be the best that you can be enjoy your work be capable to communicate with different kinds of people and the list never ends its a learning process all your life
